Professor John McKenzie was Dean of Science and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) at The University of Melbourne. Recognizing his contribution to research and especially mentoring of young researchers, The University of Melbourne established an annual recruitment of McKenzie Fellows. These fellowships provide 3-year post-doctoral positions for outstanding recent doctoral graduates.

Salaries for post-docs at Melbourne are internationally competitive (starting at more than $75,000 p.a. plus superannuation). Applicants must have completed their PhD between 1 January 2010 and 15 November 2012.

If you are interested in applying to do a project in association with QAECO, then please get in touch with one or more of us.

More information about the McKenzie Fellowships is available here, including information on how to apply.
